Tegallalang Village is 600 metres above sea level and has a pleasant climate, with the majority of the residents working as farmers.
Because of its numerous green tourism attractions, including mountain walks, lush forests and rice terraces, international tourists consider Ubud to be Bali's greenest district. Taste authentic balinese coffee after a trek at the elevation of rice paddies and don't forget to click some awesome pictures while you are there. By car :
The Tegallalang Rice Terrace is about a 2 hour drive from Denpasar, the only airport of Bali.
Minivan or Cab:
You may also share a minivan or cab from Ubud which will drop at your location without any hassle.
Scooter:
It is recommended to rent a scooter or bike from Ubud when you plan your visit to Tegallalang Rice Terrace.
The Tegallalang Rice Fields are only 20 minutes north of Ubud and are easily accessible by taxi or rented bike/scooter. The most recommended way to reach is to rent a scooter and drive by yourself to explore and enjoy the greenery all around you. But if you are someone who would like a luxurious or hassle free experience then you should opt for renting a car with a driver.
It is recommended to book a spot in advance if you plan to visit Tegallalang Rice Terrace. By booking online in advance, you save yourself from standing long in the queue and enjoy deals and discounts on your tickets as well.
